There are 5 facilities being built in Texas, not one monolithic one. Most Teslas are assembled in Freemont currently. All car makers use 3D printing already to make molds and custom test parts but all are working on ways to print more of the car and of course all are highly automated too. I’m merely saying that some car makers have been at it a lot longer so Tesla may experience a bit of the Tortoise and the Hare. Plus 500,000 charging stations are being built by the Infrastructure Bill. Tesla will be competitive, but not a shoe in. Musk is impressive for sure.
