Except AI is a Meta Tool, not a Tool like a paintbrush or a mouse that your mind causes to move. It is automation that takes place outside your skill set that you can't control (or then you'd be making the art). DALL-E is a Machine that has a billion dollars of corporate backing funding it. Dali did not. Dali was still an artist when the power went out. Dali used psychology, emotion, symbology and some secret sauce and helped invent surrealism. I didn't say an artist couldn't use AI, I only said using AI doesn't automatically make you an artist even though to others it can appear you are because after all it has ALL of Dali's images as one small fraction of the billion dollar effort. In today's world, appearances are everything. If you feel like an artist, you must be an artist!
