"I don't know" is not exactly atheism but more agnosticism. Bold of you to speak for all atheists since I know plenty of them who literally accept the mechanical/physics explanation of the Universe which often includes the big bang theory which is actually quite a strong theory scientifically and mathematically so not sure what you mean by "Not a one of us thinks that."
