I don’t subscribe to this sort of oversimplification of West vs. East. Everyone on Earth evolved to this point and even Communism is an outdated ideology. What you call the West will occupy outer space with AI, robots and free material goods produced with solar and fusion. Russia represents an embarrassing attempt at past glory when they should be working on a peaceful future with freedom and liberty. They chose a primitive path of hatred and destruction of a neighbor.
