I guess I see it as a mixed bag in terms of social benefits but I certainly agree the overall achievements fall far below the potential and are misguided and overly capitalistic. We have much to learn from other more refined cultures. We offer the explosive fluid intelligence of a younger culture and they offer the crystallized wisdom of the elders. Hopefully we can all survive to a better day.
