I have been thinking about this modern, highly documented and HD Recorded nasty form of scorched Earth warfare Russia has brutally embarked on and gigged itself on and how much more than military battles they are losing. The connected World is in the Cancel Era where targets of cancellation are shamed, ridiculed and shunned, often in irrational and cruel ways. We haven't really seen this on a national level until now and around the world, Russian culture is being canceled. Unfortunately, this includes innocent victims such as athletes, musicians, writers and composers. I'm sure some of it will return, but Russia has put a scar across its face that will take a very long time to heal and the world will be too busy with the future to care much and will avert its eyes.

But...IF Russia miraculously overcame Putinism and became a force for peace and democracy I think they would find a lot of forgiving and desire to forget the past as we did with Germany. Navalny comes to mind.
