I might dare say we have a trinary reality of -1 0 1 where equilibrium seeks to balance the negative with the positive or the yin and the yang (contained in a circle). But it could just as well be a π reality. Also, I'm not so sure money is a circulatory function which would be essential since all other species seem to operate fine without it. I too like making biological analogies since those are things that evolved over eons they represent a type of ultimate efficiency.

I do subscribe to the battle to the death of both genes and memes but will have to admit we have entered a different phase of evolution where we are also in outer space and inner space and are altering genes themselves to aid survival. So someone who carried a "Darwinian" gene in the past might get fixed in the future. Even now, sickly people go on to procreate due to modern medicine and sickly memes get people elected.

Perhaps money is more like a lightbulb or an "imaginary Sun" to a moth, shiny and attractive but can burn you. Renewable Mass Automation could take the time/labor value out of money so we would either have to invent a new money like social credit that would afford better amenities or abandon it altogether like the other species. Once abandoned, all of its instruments would be moot such as banking, credit, debt, loans, insurance, tax, etc.
