I'm 100% with you, Stephen. In evolutionary terms, I believe Democracy is a superior "life form" that adapts to changing externalities by harnessing the talent of the masses more effectively than autocratic systems. However, with a caveat that those masses need to be somewhat educated on the topics of the times they live in as well as carry history forward to the next generation (social memory).
