I'm so very tired of these cowardly, nosey, ignorant fringes worrying about things that don't affect them nor hurt them in any way whatsoever. I lived in NYC for ten years and maybe encountered 2 or 3 transgender people I was aware of and I didn't really go out to many bars so never ended up at a drag bar but wouldn't have cared if I did. Since leaving 25 yrs ago I've met and known many more and every single one was/is an exceptional, kind person. I say was, because this cruel, hypocritical world caused my daughter's dearest, brilliant friend to commit suicide at a young age simply because he once was a she who never felt like a she and only wanted to be what he was. Tragic, unnecessary but more than anything, infuriating.
