Indeed, biological computers have already been made so perhaps it will be wetware or artificial life that we end up with. Maybe we are already the result of another ancient “AI” evolution that led to “OI” in an endless cycle. Some folks would say the entire Cosmos is math…usually mathematicians. However, in as far as we create devices or “implementations” within physical operating systems, it’s hard to see how mathematics becomes tangible by itself.
