It can't be a straw man since it's not off topic and is not the only thing I said which you are picking at. Most atheists as I said know very little about astrophysics and cosmology. "Accepting what our limited science has to offer" is presuming one actually understands it. Otherwise one is accepting something just because someone said it was so or "it sounds good enough to me" which is similar to faith. Suspending judgement and showing informed interest with the humility of not knowing is much more philosophical than simple accepting. I accept that 1+1=2 and when I cut myself I will bleed. I don't know the History of the Cosmos or what the highest form of being is.
