It would be fascinating to do an actual scientific analysis using psychological expertise on billionaires and business leaders. I have to agree that a certain level of hyper wealth is unethical for the individual and for the society that allows and encourages it. However, there are cases of Philosopher King and Queen type titans who are seemingly altruistic and philanthropic but not many and not enough. Some, like Warren Buffet are sort of bizarrely frugal and non materialistic but then invest into vast pools of unethical activities and so indirectly perpetuate it.
