Pete’s Fix-it Kit for the USA

There are many things I love about my country, many things I tolerate and many things I disdain and I’m pretty sure this is true of almost everyone, except for totally different reasons tailored to the individual. Individualism is one of the things I like a lot.

In the following analysis, I don’t delve into how practical or likely to be done my solutions are because sometimes there is no obvious way from here to there due to existing flaws or lack of understanding or negative momentum. Still, it is my mission to always speak the truth the best I can and to recommend that which I believe is necessary. Also, most of my solutions listed have already been suggested by others.

I’ve tried to limit them and look at social solutions as a type of Social Acupuncture where doing the right things first will enable other things to follow. I also believe in fundamentals as in a good foundation. With a good foundation we can build nearly anything we want. Dream big!

1: The Land

The greatest thing by far about our country has nothing to do with the people or the government. It’s the North American Continent itself. What a great piece of land we luckily live upon! This land is so ancient, some of it has exposed rock over 3 billion years old! That’s 3 million millennia, long enough to evolve a human from an amoeba by random…
