Pi and Tau are octaves of each other which are all in the 2:1 ratio. It just depends which octave is more suited to a task. They should both be used liberally as needed just like in music. We need one for half Pi too which is another octave and the root of Pythagorean Theorem. Maybe capital gamma Γ since it's a right angle. These important numbers deserve full respect!
