Quite the opposite— I'm a student of History, Science and Philosophy, not the news which I get from many sources. While I agree Capitalism is anathema to Nature and an abomination it is due to an ignorant definition of profit and human greed and lust for power which permeates ALL political systems. The United States (and other advanced civilizations) has potential to free the human race from the bondage of waged slavery through AI and automation and fusion energy. It's foolish to predict in these times but I assure you the future is MUCH stranger than imagination can project.

If the United States fails, all humanity will be in dire trouble because they will fail for the same reason—Biosphere Trauma.
