Russia assumed all 6,000 nuclear weapons of the USSR, continues to attack neighbors irrationally and terroristcally, meddles with western elections to hurt us, sows discord, poisonings, hacking, etc. Ergo, only a fool would trust Russia. The wise will defend themselves and shore up those defenses.
