Russia has an economy smaller than Florida's. 45% of it's GDP WAS from International companies that have now left Russia. The world is racing to a cheap solar/wind/fusion energy model that will eviscerate Russia sooner than it was going to because Russia completely lacks diversification. On top of that Russia is now an outsider to scientific research and high tech components which will rapidly leave it in the technological dust. Putin is a fool.
