Since we are dealing with socio-biological entities, any “poles” that develop only do so through evolutionary processes which is also relevant to Hegel and Darwin, IMO. Even the US is such an evolutionary entity from the Enlightenment. Thus the timeline can be much more extended than generational or political shifts are.
