The Ridiculous, Ill “Logic” of Climate Deniers
It is better to err on the side of caution. — Old Adage
This simple bit of wisdom is the ultimate simplicity in Risk Management. It’s one thing to risk a million dollars with known odds of losing it all or gaining a fortune while investing or making a decision to leap from building to building where a miscalculation could be fatal because that only affects you. Climate Deniers make a much larger bet—complete and utter devastation of the Biosphere that supports ALL life vs. Maybe it’s a natural phenomenon and we should keep up with business as usual because it would cost too many dollars to deal with it properly. Stupid bet.
Let’s focus on things we know and can agree on. Maybe not everything on this list but those that are true you MUST accept as a rational person. You can’t turn your head away and say no, water is dry, the Sun cools the Earth!

- Thermometers work. ✅
- Scientists know how to use them. ✅
- We can create records that track air and water temperatures over time. ✅
- We can understand how much Energy the Sun produces on average. It’s been studied intensely for many decades. ✅
