The war has a silver lining because necessity is the mother of invention and the race is on to beat oil and gas. Nuclear fission is ready now and fusion is well on its way. In the meantime a few years of improvisation and inconvenience will be fine. After all, Europeans went thousands of years without petroleum products. Don’t worry, we’ll solve it with mind over matter and by the way there is still tons of oil and gas to support renewables.
