This is a common Lego-centric view of matter which in reality is a multidimensional fractal without a name. You’d be amazed to see every atom is completely unique and has a flowing fractal of complex particles and waves beyond imagination. The position or what you call “the arrangement” is way more subtle than Legos.

I don’t see how you could justify creating mass-produced sentience such as 1,000 clones of yourself that each thinks it’s the real you but maybe with a psychological issue that creates constant terror or depression. Seems very Frankenstein to me. The ethics of creating imperfect sentience or "monsters" is questionable but I still question the actual ability also so the Universe might know better than to give us that power at this point. I’m not compelled by your cases, sorry.
