Well then pressing play on Spotify makes you a musician too in that case. Its sort of more a meta means of image production than a medium which is in this case "digital art" until your print it out. It's more like exploring a search result for images you'd like to see but could never make yourself but you can sort of describe. The funny thing is it's trained on real art that came from real imaginations and real techniques and without that real art it would be nothing. All I said is you need to be an artist before using AI and that AI doesn't turn you in to an artist because it shows you cool images. You can be a terrible artist and still make cool images or you can be a great artist and make lame ones too with AI that have nothing to do with your personal art skills. Or a decent artist could make very cool AI art by working on refining prompts which so far they don't teach in art school.
