Each violent and egregious action is not only continuous but insidious in the form of assassinations, imprisonments, rigged elections, meddling in democracies around the world, etc. Each year of Putin’s illegally extended reign has given NATO more reasons to distrust Russia and even its closest neighbors are least trusting and most aware of the nuclear scorpion that stalks humanity. Russia is a bully and no one actually likes a bully. NATO is a protectorate.
