You are forgetting about one overarching, inescapable fact that controls everything—Evolution. All you are seeing is one tiny fraction of a million year process. Humans WILL evolve or die like every other species and capitalism as we know it will evolve into something entirely different too. No one "owns" anything and this will become more clear as the Space and Information Ages progress. The planet has a way of taking care of itself in ways that don't involve humans and 5 million years is no big deal in Evolution.
