You do a good job assessing the current trends and data which are indeed troubling. However, some things have even changed for the better since 2010 when most of these charts end, for example:

1. Gasoline demand is dropping and expected to drop every year from now on due to remote work and EVs.

2. The Russian war has accelerated the EU's timeline to switch to renewables and even more importantly, the switch is happening in China and the US at an increasing pace.

3. Population predictions have changed and numerous places are experiencing very low birth rates indicating an earlier leveling off and even decline in population.

4. Fusion energy has made tremendous strides toward commercialization, sooner than 2050 rendering ICE obsolete.

5. AI and automation are burgeoning and even farming is effected as they are finding small robots can cleanly keep pests oof of crops.

6. The Ozone Hole has essentially closed and continues to resort to pre-industrial levels.

7. Knowledge is doubling much faster, every few months so we can't say we will not find sustainable solutions to our problems.

8. The Trillion Tree Project is getting traction and many millions of trees are being planted around the world.

9. Green buildings and heat exchangers are becoming the next wave in architecture and urban design.

10. There is LOTS of money to be made in Green Tech which will eclipse the oil business sooner than later.

There is plenty to be optimistic about, especially since the Gen-Z population is much more tuned in to the Biosphere issues than previous ones.
